The network behind The Voice has greenlit a new game show, The Winner Is, which will pit contestants against each other before an in-studio panel. Before hearing their fates, the singers –a mix of soloists and groups that include kids, teens, adults, seniors, families and professionals – will need to decide whether to negotiate a cash prize and step out of the competition or continue the game.

Kathie later apologized, writing on Twitter, "I send my sincerest apologies to Martin Short and his family. He handled situation w/enormous grace and kindness and I'm so grateful."
