Was thrilled to attend the 8th annual ICON, a celebration of art and life and benefit for Seattle Counseling Service.
This year was all about the 80's with Big hair and the Icons that made the decade. From Madonna to Tina to Whitney to Michael along with the Hostess with the Mostess,
Aleksa Manila this was the place to be on a Sunday night.

From the moment I arrived, I spotted
Jinx Monsoon's performance and ran into the gorgeous, Arnaldo! with Mr. Pianoman, Vic. SGN's
Shaun Knittel, George Bakan and Movie Freak.com's
Sara Michelle Fetters was all decked out.

I was thrilled to be seated at the table of Gay City ED,
Fred Swanson and his partner,
Adam Diamond. Near by was the GSBA Diva
herself, Louise Cherin.
The show started with Aleksa coming out with her dancing boys to strike a pose before introducing the first Act of
Diamond St. James as Madonna
, Issac Scott as Grace Jones
, Ryan Stone as MJ,
Gaysha Starr as Whitney,
and
Nina Maxwell as Tina!

After a delicious dinner of Chicken with Mash D's and dessert of Flan with fresh apples, the show resumed with
Miss Indigo Blue, Gaysha Starr, Jaxen brown and Ruby Rouge.
The Finale all came together with 'We are the world' with the whole cast and SCS staff and the audience waving candles. One Funny moment was when one audience member stumble over her chair! She survived! We all survived the 80's and what a great tribute.
