It was a Gaga night at last night's MTV’s Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. First she arrives on the Red Carpet with 4 OUT victims of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" and then she goes off and sweep the night with a total of 8 awards with 3 of them presented by Gay icons. (Ellen, the cast of Glee, and the ageless Cher).
As I mentioned in my Gaga concert review, Gaga obvisouly idolizes Cher (She looks great, just as she dfid 20 yrs ago)! So what does she do? She takes her skimpy outfit from the the 1989 If I Could Turn Back Time video out of mothballs.
It’s funny how much things change. When the original video debuted more than 20 years ago, there were so many complaints about how skimpy the outfit was that MTV agreed to only air the video after 9 p.m.!
Anyway, flash-forward two decades. Is there another 63 year old on the planet who would even attempt this?
BTW..Congrats to Gaga!
