ISSUES: Did the View discriminate against the Out, Thomas Roberts?

I was watching the View this morning and I was introduced to the sexy Thomas Roberts. I immediately googled him and found out he was gay and OUT!

Well, that explains why a respected newsman had to step aside from being the obvious choice as 'Guest moderator' to comedian, D.L. Hughely!

At first, Roberts wasn't given any time to talk, that is until the topic shifted and men on the 'down low' and he had to debate the clueless, Sherri Shepard. Thomas pointed out that here it is the year 2010 and gay people still cannot donate blood: “If a gay man can’t donate blood, what else can’t we do? We can’t get married, we can’t do this, we can’t do that.”

I was proud of Roberts and he finally able to provide an opinion, and bring up how come straights don't use condoms, despite the fact that Black women are a high risk group for HIV!
