SEATTLE, WA-It's official! Queer cinema is back in full force with the sequels of 2 classic films. "An Englishman in New York" opened the Festival this past Friday. This is the highly anticipated sequel to the 'Naked Civil Servant' , even after 34 years, John Hurt continues the saga from where he left off. (My review will come soon) Denis O'hare was on hand for some Q and A following the screening. The Opening was also followed by a classy gala at the Sodo Center with a slew of Quentin impersonators. Spotted were Sylvia O'stayformore, Waxie Moon, Mink Stole and Peaches Christ. On Saturday, was the sexy, amusing and funny 'Eating Out 3: All you you can Eat' followed by appearances from Director, Glenn Gaylord, Mink Stole, and VERY cute NW bred actor, Daniel Skeltin. The evening ended with a conversation with Mink Stole interviewed by the Outrageous, Peaches Christ. Followed by the screening of the grotesque Cult classic, 'Desperate Living'. STAY TUNED from more coverage!
Check out the trailer that features Seattle best, including; Arnaldo, Nick Garrison, Sylvia O'stayformore. Peggy Platt, and the Iconic Grethe Cammermeyer.
