SOAP Q: (CLASSIC) HUNK of the WEEK (Michael)!

Catching up with reruns of a classic soap, Ryan's Hope,  I was reminded that  the star (Michael Corbett) broke the mode as one of the first Soap Hunks, like how see them today, young, beautiful, sexy, and a perfect body!

Michael Pavel, JR grew up in Brooklyn and wanted to escape the neighborhood and he did  it by sleeping his way to the top and becoming the Personal Assistant,/Boy toy/ lover to the older and very wealthy, Rae Woodard. Everything was going swimmingly until Rae's bored, childish and very married daughter, Kimberly was able to get Michael into bed! When Rae got a clue that her lover was also sleeping with her daughter she cut Michael off and fired him! It occurred to Rae that her business rival may hire michael to expose her secrets, so she hired Michael back and kept him at a near distance. One night while escorting Rae back to her penthouse, they came across a burglar and during a scuffle, Michael was knocked out unconscious while saving Rae!   Later at the Hospital, Michael received an unexpected visitor: The Burgular! It is revealed he is an old friend from the neighborhood helping Michael get in Rae's good graces and worked with Rae trusting him again. Joe, the town mobster approached Michael and forced him to set up his arch rival which could cost Rae's company 10 Million dollars! Drug crazed, Kimberly sinked her claws back into Michael and of course Michael took the bait!  This past week, Rae found a love note from Michael to Kimberly, and stormed off to Michael's boathouse with a Gun! Rae bursts in on Michael and Kim and announces that she is ALSO Michael's Lover! a Crazed Kim, grabs the gun and shoots Michael herself and runs out with Rae and leaves Michael for dead. Later, one of Joe's goons arrives and finishes the Job! THE END 

Did I mention this occurred 29 years ago in the summer of 1981? Imagine Michael would be 50  now, what would have happen if Michael lived? Perhaps he would have kept by a wealthy man or hooked up with fellow "Closeted" schemer, Barry Ryan? We will will never know now!
