"I’m a cookie-decorating mom. I don’t bake them. I decorate them.“ - Cher in 1999, as told to Benjamin Svetkey.
On a spring afternoon, Svetkey drove to Cher's house in Malibu for an interview. Her assistant led him up to her bedroom where she was dressed in leopard print and resting on a leopard print bedspread.
Cher was open, honest, and forthcoming about the ups and downs of fame, being a mom, her gay following, the camp element of her persona, and how Sonny Bono changed her life. It's vintage Cher. Enjoy.

(MK SCOTT) EXCLUSIVE: Cyndi Lauper on Cher and How she still wants to have FUN after 30 years!
by MK Scott
Cyndi Lauper is a Legend that credits Cher as an influence and after 12 years after opening for her during Cher's never ending Farewell Tour, she is back as the opening act for the Dressed to Kill Tour, which comes to Seattle's Key Arena this weekend. I was emailed Cyndy some questions and she responded. Look for Cyndy to talk about Cher, the 30th Anniversary of her Iconic "She so Unusual" album and the Pride from True Colors.

BRAVE: Chaz's Manly Exit from 'DWTS'!
Chaz Bono was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars last night after a season that turned up none of the controversy predicted by right-wing blowhards like Dr. Keith Ablow.
Said Chaz upon his departure: "I took so much away from this. This was an amazing journey that really pushed me and showed me that I could do so much more than I ever thought I could. I came on this show because I wanted to show America a different kind of man. If there was somebody like me on TV when I was growing up, my whole life would have been different. And so I dedicated everything I did to all the people out there like me and especially to kids and teens who are struggling. You can have a wonderful, great life and be successful and happy."
