Maksim (Maks) Chmerkovskiy,32, is a Ukrainian Latin Ballroom dance champion, choreographer, and instructor. He is best known as one of the professional dancers on the American television series Dancing with the Stars, on which he first appeared in season two. In his twelve appearances on the show, Chmerkovskiy has made it to the final round four times, with two runner-up and two third place finishes.

Sasha Farber, 29 moved to Australia at a young age and began taking professional dancing classes at the tender age of 13. By 17, Sasha had won the Australian Youth Latin Championships and represented Australia at the World Latin Championships. After dominating the dance world, Sasha joined on as a competing pro on the Australian version of Dancing With the Stars.
Sasha joined the Pro Troupe for Season 13 after his Burn the Floor castmate Tristan MacManus was promoted from Troupe member to competing pro.
Sasha danced during the closing ceremonies of the Sydney Olympics in 2000. He also appeared on the popular ballroom dancing showcase Burn the Floor with DWTS pros Tristan and Peta Murgatroyd. He currently lives in California.
