(Ask Misty): Im discouraged because I find most gays to be Shallow and cliquish!

Ive experienced alot of negativity in the gay scene and its disappointing because i just turned 21, now thinking that this is all i have to look forward to. In such a uppity and cliquish atmosphere, how can i find a mate or at least friend?
