You might not know who Tony Tripoli is right out of the gate. But when I
tell you he's the head writer of Fashion Police with Joan Rivers, and
that he's 'that one guy from that one sitcom,' you'll know whom I am
talking about. But none of that matters. In fact, it doesn't even matter
that he's so hot (seriously, have you seen this guy's picture?!). Tony
Tripoli is sidesplittingly, laugh-out-loud funny. And he's coming to
Seattle!
Tripoli is scheduled to perform at the Rendezvous April 21-22 with
Phoenix's Gay comedy phenom Mike Gillerman in a show aptly titled A Tale
of Two Grindrs.
Yes, the show is going to be that Gay. I, for one, can't wait! I love
me some Gay comedians, and Tripoli is at the top of his game.
'I have never been to Seattle, mostly because I hated Frasier's uppity
bullshit so damn much,' Tripoli joked. 'But, I'm thinking enough time
has passed now, so I'm coming to check your shit out.'
Just so you know, that is just a taste of what you are in for, folks.
Tripoli is crass, to the point, and it feels oh-so-good. He throws jokes
like a jock passes a football: fast and hard!
'Here's the deal: I'm super funny, and have worked with a bunch of
famous people, and since I'm not at all famous, I can totally bust on
them behind their backs and they'll never know,' he told Seattle Gay
News. 'Seriously, you guys. I've seen Joan Rivers naked. I need to talk
about this with a professional, or an audience of strangers in a
basement in Seattle.'
Speaking of Joan Rivers, 'I'm the head writer of Fashion Police, which
is the best gig ever,' said Tripoli. 'Let's be honest: Joan doesn't need
any help. She is just such a hard worker, and she truly values having a
sounding board to bounce her brilliance off.'
