DOWN LOW: Murray TOPS Nadal in Japan!

Rafael Nadal lost to Andy Murray in the finals of the Japan Open Sunday 3-6, 6-2, 6-0, Greg in Hollywood reports.

“Rafa is one of the greatest players ever,” Murray said. “It is always a pleasure to play against him.”

Murray, ranked number four behind Novak Djokovic, Nadal, and Roger Federer, won his fourth title of 2011 and 20th overall.

But he still lacks a grand slam title which prevents him from being a true great. Nadal has 10, Federer a record 16, and Djokovic 4. Murray has been runner-up at the Australian Open twice and once at the US Open. Andy Murray Of Great Britain Speak

One Remark

  1. Nadal is just letting his competitors have a bit of fun. He’ll be back.
