(OUTscene NW) Highlights from Mr. & Miss Gay Asian/Pacific Islander International Pageant!

Mr. & Miss Gay Asian/Pacific Islander International Pageant was held on Sat, 9/24 at Neighbors Nightclub.

This was  a beauty pageant unlike any other, Asian and Pacific Islander drag queens and kings, Studs and Transsexuals from across the Pacific Northwest competed for this prestigious title that began ten years ago!

Each year this event has taken place it has drawn the attention of the entire community and the City. Previous pageants have drawn more than 500 people and hype is beginning to build again for its return this year. The event is not only entertaining, it’s a great way to show support for the Queer Asian/Pacific Islander Community.


Contestants were be all dolled up and dressed in spectacular outfits for competition in their national costumes, formal wear, and swimsuits. Winners were Vanity Avia Moliga De'Lush and Daniel.

The evening will be hosted by celebrated Asian Drag Queens Jenuwine Beaute, and  Aleksa Manila! Gaysha Starr was also a on hand! 
 Proceeds of the pageant benefit the Youth Suicide Prevention Program of Washington State to help fund their efforts in supporting GLBTQ youth that contemplate suicide due to the harassment they face due to their sexual orientation or gender identity.
