The members of the California Democratic Party's LGBT Caucus will elect new leaders this weekend during the annual state convention, with the top two positions expected to go to a gay man from San Jose and a lesbian from San Diego, according to Bay Area Reporter.
If the leadership elections remain uncontested, then Clark Williams will be elevated to the role of northern co-chair. Williams has served as the caucus' northern vice chair since 2007 and succeeds Sacramento resident Laurie McBride .
