Misty Eyed: Was Elton thinking of Diana at the Wedding?

Elton John and his partner David Furnish were among the 1,900 guests at today’s wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton who are now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.


The ceremony was at Westminster Abbey where the funeral of William’s mother, Princess Diana, was held. Elton sang a special version of Candle in the Wind at Diana’s funeral.
