It is Week 6 For American Idol contenders and the LIST is getting shorter!
1. James Durbin: The rocker tore up the stage and put his claim on becoming the first-ever “Idol” metal god. Move over, Daughtry and Adam Lambert. You’ve got company.
2. Scotty McCreery: CUTIE makes it look effortless, but he’s still one cowboy who’s going to go down with his boots on.
3. Jacob Lusk: (Closet Fem) Call it a lackLusker performance on a song he should’ve killed. His bottom three finish last week doesn’t augur well, but he may get another week to recoup.
4. Stefano Langone: (Looks and talent will put you on TOP) Puts himself back into contention with one of his patented, soaring ballads. He’s a HOTthrob alright, and in this competition, that puts him a leg up, even with last week’s bottom three.
5. Casey Abrams: (This Guy is a BEAR at Heart) The public’s fickle, and they may not get “Nature Boy,” but this kid’s nerve and charisma puts him in the top ranks.
6. Lauren Alaina: (Will she make it the Top 5) Do not count her out as she continues to grow before our eyes. Could be the only female finalist with a real shot at the top prize.
7. Haley Reinhart: The judges were lukewarm; let’s see what the public thinks. Still, with the way the girls are dropping, her chances don’t look too good.
NEXT OUT?
8. Paul McDonald: Could he be victim of the lead-off curse? He’s likable alright, but will that keep saving him from the axe? We’ll see Tonight. The Kenny Loggins/Joe Cocker clone should have been gone B4 Pia last week!
