OUTscene: (INTER-view) MK Follows up with EW's Dave Karger about last night's Oscars!

by MK Scott
OUTscene Editor

Now that the Oscars are over, I spoke to Entertainment Weekly's Dave Karger about his take on Last night's Telecast.

MK: Well, you got 8 right out of the Big 10. The only ones you missed were Supporting Actress and Director. Did that Surprise you?
DK: If I had gone with the guild awards I would have known that Tom Hooper and Melissa Leo were going to win.

MK: How did The Hosts do?
DK:  Everything I saw from Anne Hathaway and James Franco seemed pretty good...but the reviews today have been horrible so maybe I missed all the bad parts.

MK: Did you like the Drag bit?
DK: it's funny how interested James Franco is in drag.

MK: What was your Favorite moment?
DK: My favorite moment was the Auto-Tune bit. Loved that.
MK: What your least favorite moment?
DK:  Least favorite was Kirk Douglas dragging out the Best Supporting Actress presentation.

Season is finally over! Thanks to Dave Karger for his report.
