SOAP Q: Baby for Cristian & Syed?

This couple went through hell to be together so how nice it would be to have them start a family.

They are the characters of Christian Clarke (John Partridge) and Syed Masood ((Marc Elliott) on UK television’s long-running nighttime soap opera Eastenders. They are together now but not until after Syed – under severe pressure from his family – broke Christian’s heart by marrying a woman.

The UK’s The Mirror is reporting that Christian and Syed will ask a mother of three named Glenda Mitchell (Glynis Barber) to help them become fathers by having their baby.

It will be the first ever “gay dad” plot on a British soap.

An EastEnders source tells The Mirror: “Christian and Syed having a baby together will be the biggest storyline on the soap this year, and one of the most controversial in the programme’s history. Producers think it will be a ratings hit and prove a massive talking point among viewers.”
