ISSUES: Maryland Set to Be 6th State to OK Gay Marriage!

Gay rights advocates say momentum is building to make Maryland the sixth state to recognize same-sex marriages. Democrats increased their majority in the State Senate in November's elections, giving the party a super majority in both chambers, making passage of new legislation likely. Democratic Gov. Martin O'Malley has said he will sign a gay marriage bill into law, CNN reports. Same-sex marriages are already recognized in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Washington, DC.
