CULTURE: It's Reagan WAR! Michael calls Ronnie an 'Embarrassment'!

Ronald Reagan's sons are squabbling, with conservative Michael (adopted with Jane Wyman) calling younger, liberal brother (Real son of Ronald and Nancy) Ron "an embarrassment" and asking the public to "pray for my brother." The ruckus comes after Ron speculated in his forthcoming book that the 40th president suffered from the early effects of Alzheimer's while in office. “Ron, my brother was an embarrassment to his father when he was alive and today he became an embarrassment to his mother,” Michael Reagan tweeted.

Reagan's presidential foundation, likely on Nancy Reagan's behalf, praised Ron Reagan's book as "a tribute that only a son could present," but firmly denies Alzheimer's reared its head until after Reagan left the White House. The spat comes in the lead-up to the conservative icon's 100th birthday—and the brothers' very different books, reports Politico. “My brother seems to want [to] sell out his father to sell books," Michael said in a separate tweet. Michael Reagan's book is titled The New Reagan Revolution: How Ronald Reagan’s Principles Can Restore America’s Greatness; both tomes are due Tuesday.
