CULTURE: Delta Boots Entire Russian Hockey Team Off Plane!

Winning a world championship is bound to make a team pretty ecstatic, and coming back from a three-goal deficit is only going to take that happiness to a whole new level. After doing just that last night in the IIHF World Junior Hockey championships in Buffalo to beat Canada for the gold medal, the Russian team had cause for major celebration. So much so that this morning they were kicked off their initial return flight home, headed to Atlanta, reports the Buffalo News.

Shortly after boarding the plane, airline staff decided to remove all 30 team members for "unruly behavior" to "ensure safe operation of the flight," said a spokesperson. The team will be rebooked, presumably when it's done celebrating. The Russians had trailed 3-0 before scoring five unanswered goals in the third period, devastating Canucks everywhere!
