Sarah Palin got quoted for the umpteenth time today saying something to the effect that she might just run for president in two years. And she wouldn't run if she didn't think she could win, right? Right, as per this exchange with Barbara Walters: "If you ran for president, could you beat Barack Obama?" asks Walters. "I believe so," responds Palin. But that's pretty much all ABC is offering in its tease to Walters' Dec. 9 special on the "10 Most Fascinating People of 2010."
And while we're on the subject of 2012 rumors, both Michael Bloomberg and Joe Scarborough today shot down this report that they're talking about a joint run. “I can tell you I’m not running," said Bloomberg, reports the Wall Street Journal. "It’s very flattering, all kidding aside, that everybody suggests this, but I’m not running for president, guys." Earlier today, Scarborough called it nonsense on his Morning Joe show, notes Mediaite.
Has anyone forgotten that Palin LOST in 2008. When she came onto the ticket it was like, "McCain who?" If McCain died it would have Palin as President. No one wanted that. Give up the ghost!
