OUTscene: (EVENTS) Art and Fashion meet at the Goddesses of Glass Fashion Show

By MK Scott
OUTscene Editor

This past June I had the pleasure of attending the Forbidden Fashion show, produced by my good friend, Eduardo Khawam.  This past Friday, Eduardo (along with Irina Sosa) did it again but with a completly different theme: Fashion and Glass Art with a roman style.

As you walked up the stairs to the ballroom area of the Fairmount Olympic Hotel in Downtown Seattle you were welcomed by angel with black wings at the Piano and a slightly frozen model on a platform surrounded by Glass art.

As you entered the Ballroom you saw more models on exhibition wearing gowns by Luly Yang Couture and ADICORA Swimwear by Niveen Heaton. New Designer: Ginger Bellus (Men's video game costumes) the iron road that the male models where using is the same is used for Glass Blowing.

With art by Seattle Glassblowers Studio.

Check out the video tour below:

If you were a VIP, you had the pleasure of entering the Palace of the Deities designs by Count Kody. The shirtless male model welcomed you.

By midnight, more fashion walked the runway carpet (Hosted by Aleksa Manila). People were asked to bring toys to donate, by press time over 1,953 were collected! The Goddesses of Glass Excellence Award went to Chris Bias, Chris and his friend collected 600 toys!
