The Holy Terror is FINALLY over!
Jennifer Grey overcame the competition—and an alleged Tea Party conspiracy—to become the 11th champion of Dancing With the Stars. The 50-year-old beat Bristol Palin, 20, who finished third, and Kyle Massey, 19 to win the mirror ball, the AP reports. "I didn't think I was going to compete tonight—and I'm really glad I did," said Grey, who suffered a slipped disc before the finale.
"I've definitely had the time of my life ," said Palin, who earlier said winning would "be like a big middle finger to all the people out there that hate my mom and hate me." ABC said there had been problems with its voting system that affected every finalist equally, E! Online reports. Security was tight at the finale, with the show basically on lockdown after a white powder was mailed to the production office, sources tell PopEater.
One disturbing quote from Bristol included self delusions of voting. Did she think SHE was running for President? One shocking quote that was replayed this morning on GMA: Bristol said in her interview on Monday night that winning will be "A BIG middle finger to all that Hate my Mom and me".
