ENTERTAINMENT: 'Diva' Momsen on Hiatus From Gossip Girl

The actress dissed by fatherly Tim Gunn as a "diva" and a "brat" is going on a hiatus from Gossip Girl. "Goth Barbie" Taylor Momsen, 17, will be a no-show for 4 episodes beginning next month, reports Deadline Hollywood. She may be out for "creative reasons" connected to the plot. Or program producers may be growing weary of the kvetching teen's raunchy mouth and hyper-provocative performances (kind of like Gossip Girl) with her rock band Pretty Reckless. Gunn, who played "Jenny's" mentor in a recent episode called Momsen "pathetic." She "couldn't remember her lines, and she didn't even have that many," he said. "I thought to myself, 'Why are we being held hostage by this brat?'"
