Via Greg in Hollywood:
Long before the Jake and Vienna fiasco, I had stopped believing in Bachelor/Bachelorette love.
C’mon, falling in love on a reality show?
After skipping just about every post-Andy Baldwin season, I was enchanted by Ali Fedotowsky after watching the season premiere. I watched every single episode this summer and there was such a magnificent payoff last night when she chose the ridiculously handsome Roberto Martinez and he proposed.
They are a gorgeous couple and seem to genuinely love each other. The attraction between these two was apparent from their first meeting after which Ali gave Roberto the first impression rose.
The Fact that Ali didn’t want to put runner-up Chris Lambton through a rose ceremony after she knew for certain that she loved Roberto said everything about this girl.
Even though Chris was disappointed, he did recognize what a caring thing it was for her to do. This all made me a little weepy – okay, a lot weepy. I think I was moved because it was a real moment and then there was a rainbow that appeared.
But Roberto who is damned SEXY!
Regardless if Ali and Roberto make it in the long run, a new bar has been set for future seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
