Jake's life has been about overcoming obstacles. Starting from birth there was a 50/50 chance that since his mother was nearing 50, that he would be born with Down syndrome. Luckily, Jake was healthy but the obstacles continued. As a toddler, Jake was playing with a gun and accidentally shot and wounded his Gran. As a teenager, he eloped with his childhood friend, Emily Ann (child of a Whore and Pimp). Enter other family friend, Katie to the mix and you get Em turning psycho as she tried to murder Katie! After Em was carted off to the loony bin, Jake took off to Africa to focus on his medical career which led to a stint in an African prison, Jake was rescued and when returned to Pine Valley, he started to hang out with his other family friend, Amanda (Child of a Mercenary and crowbar Killer) who was also sleeping with JR and David at the same time! When Amanda turned up pregnant, she assumed that the daddy was either JR or David and really thought dastardly David was the daddy. Honorable Jake wanted to marry Amanda anyway and they did until David blackmailed Amanda in having sex so they can produce another baby! Fortunately, Amanda couldn't get pregnant by the sterile David. So it turned out Jake was indeed the daddy of the first child! This past week, Jake jumped into action to save Amanda from her stalker, but must overcome the fact that Amanda's stalker is her crowbar killing mother! Will Jake be able to survive this obstacle?
