Americal Idol: 'Darn, I should have performed shirtless this week'

The 20-year-old Texan made the most of his opportunity and peaked in recent weeks with the Beatles‘ All My Loving and Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love. But this week’s Better Days by the Goo Goo Dolls was panned by those grumpy judges.

Dubbed “Teflon Tim” because viewers had kept him safe despite shaky performances that drew often sharp words from the judges, Tim joined Casey James and Aaron Kelly in one of this season’s few all-male bottom three. Casey had never been in the bottom three while Aaron will be very vulnerable in the weeks to come.

I really thought Aaron would be eliminated this week. But I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of him!

Oh well, we still have Casey who I know will perform shirtless, if asked.
